This is a piece I'm working on for our local equine therapy program. The original photo was a bit dated (80's perhaps?) so I tweaked it; adding more of the horse's head (it was chopped just above his eye so I gave him some ears) and switching out the little girl's bike helmet with a more appropriate riding helmet. It will end up being a mixed media piece as it is half watercolor and half scan/ps piece.
I just hope the final piece reproduces nicely and I nail her expression of joy.
